There’s Still Time: Expect God’s Blessings in the Final Days of 2024
The Favor of the Lord Rests Upon You
Not long ago, I woke up with a clear word from the Lord echoing in my heart: “The favor of the Lord rests upon you.” Instantly, I knew God was reminding me of a song that has ministered to my spirit, Blessings on Blessings by Anthony Brown. The words that came to mind—“Every time I turn around, blessings, blessings, blessings”—felt like the voice of the Lord confirming again what He spoke to me in October: that this year isn’t over yet, and He’s still moving.
As I pressed play and let that song fill my morning, it was as if God was declaring, “I am faithful, and I have blessings lined up for you, even in these final days of 2024.” Today, we have 54 days left in this year, and I want to encourage you—God is not finished. The same God who spoke a promise to you will see it through to completion (Isaiah 55:11).
A Promise That Endures
If you’ve been feeling like time is slipping by and your prayers remain unanswered, remember that God is still in the business of doing the impossible. Just as He reminded me through a song, His promise to bless and multiply you for the rest of this year stands firm. He is faithful, and He watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
It’s easy to look at the calendar and think we’re running out of time, but God’s timing isn’t like ours. As I shared in an earlier blog post on the importance of persistence in prayer, God often works in ways and moments we don’t expect. So let this be a reminder to hold on and believe that blessings are still coming your way. Even if it feels like you’ve been waiting all year, God’s word is as fresh now as the day He first spoke it to you.
God’s Faithfulness in Every Season
When we feel weary or discouraged, it’s essential to remember that God’s character doesn’t shift. He’s as faithful in November as He was in January. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” If He promised to bless you, He will see it through, no matter the date on the calendar.
If you’re waiting on breakthroughs in relationships, family, business, or ministry, know that God hasn’t forgotten. In a previous post, I shared about creating a prayer plan for the year, aligning specific prayer times with your goals. I encourage you to revisit that plan with fresh faith, expecting that God still has time to do exceedingly and abundantly above all you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Stirring Up Expectancy for These Final Days
What would it look like for you to believe for blessings every day? When I think of God’s goodness, I’m reminded of James 1:17, which says that every good and perfect gift comes from above. God has a storehouse of blessings prepared for you, and He delights in surprising us, even at the year’s end. Let this final stretch of 2024 be a time where you press into His presence, declaring that His favor rests upon you.

God’s Promise Still Stands
As we approach the end of this year, remember: God’s word is alive and active. The promise He whispered to you isn’t bound by time. You have 54 days, but with God, even one day is more than enough for Him to change everything. I’m praying for you, standing with you, and believing that His blessings will continue to unfold around you, just as He promised.
